Janet Dailey

American author. Born in 1944 in Storm Lake, Iowa. Janet loved books from an early age and wrote her first book in 1974, thinking she could write a better romantic story than most of those she read. It seemed she was right because she is now a best-selling author of adult romantic fiction. She is also extremely prolific with a very long list of titles to her name.

A few of her romantic novels have a horsy background, including her first one,
No Quarter Asked, and these I have included here. The Calder Family series is set against a ranching backdrop but I don't know how much horse content is in those particular books. If anyone out there knows please drop me a line in case they need adding to this page. There may be more of the author's books which have an equine element, but these are the only ones I know of as yet. Again, if you have any other information on these titles please let me know!

Janet Dailey has her own website where you can find out more information about her books.
